The Senior Marketing Specialist (Corporate) is responsible for providing day-to-day marketing and communication support for complex, strategically important areas of the organization. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

-Must have strategic and marketing planning skills, have a conceptual knowledge of market research techniques, and be results oriented.
-Must have experience in supervising the execution of creative strategies that achieve intended results, and a thorough understanding of electronic and print advertising production, media buying, and their associated costs.\
-Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field
-Must have minimum four (4) years of progressive experience in business, marketing, communications, or related field

-Working knowledge of basic business software.
-Advanced knowledge of business, marketing, and communication principals.
-Demonstrated ability to write, edit, and communicate.  Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, showing a working knowledge of grammar principles, style, and usage as well as alignment with MLH strategic direction and Power of One culture.
-Must possess analytical skills, be flexible, innovative, highly organized, able to work independently, and able to exercise independent judgement and professionalism.
-Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and work under tight deadlines.
-Masters the technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform job responsibilities.
-Demonstrated ability to design and deliver well-organized, impactful plans to accomplish department objectives.  Presents, explains, and champions business strategy and initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities:
-Plans and administers day-to-day department projects, and executes organizational strategies.
-Builds strong relationships, mutual trust, and influences key audiences to accomplish marketing and communications objectives.  Is established as a thought leader and content expert among stakeholders.
-Defines project objectives, requirements, and goals.  Establishes a project plan to ensure timely completion and alignment with plans or initiative(s).  Identifies key resources are available to facilitate completion.  Communicates responsibilities to team members and stakeholders.
-Develops marketing/communication strategies and implements tactics to meet goals.
-Functions as an effective team-builder and builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members to facilitate project completion.  Assists and coaches other team members in building and facilitating effective teams.
-Performs other job duties as assigned.
