We are currently looking for a caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable substance abuse counselor to add to our staff. This qualified individual will be responsible for the direct provision of substance abuse services to include the planning, overseeing, facilitating, and documentation of patient recoveries.

~Maintains a small caseload of 5-7 patients
~Provides individual, group, and family counseling as required
~Develops, implements, and reviews treatment plans
~Performs appropriate and timely documentation via electronic medical records
~Participates in clinical staffing
~Actively interacts with patients during scheduled activities
~Other related duties as determined by supervisor
~Master’s Degree in Counseling or closely related field from an accredited college or university (required)
~Valid Driver’s License (required)
~Previous experience in Alcohol & Drug counseling (preferred)
~Knowledge of Substance Abuse Disorders (preferred)
Evenings, includes one weekly staff meeting and one weekend day shift
