HOPE HOUSE: Grants Manager/Accountant

We are looking for a skilled grants manager/accountant with non-profit experience to manage private and governmental grant expenses as well as maintain financial records, including purchases, receipts and payments and reimbursements. Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a must! Ultimately, the Grant Manager’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions. The work schedule is flexible with 40 hours per week and can be accomplished for the most part remotely.


Prepare materials for submission for reimbursement grants
Maintain financials and prepare financial statements for review
Work with independent auditors for annual audit
Work with CPA
Enter data, maintain records and develop monthly financial statements
Process accounts payable and handle payroll in a timely manner


Proven grants management and bookkeeping experience
Mastery of QuickBooks Online software
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software with QuickBooks Online
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
