Ducks Unlimited, Inc.: Print Advertising Specialist

Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the continent’s leader in waterfowl and wetlands conservation, seeks a Print Advertising Specialist to handle the operational duties that support the organizations print media properties and advertising sales.

Primary Responsibilities Include: 
-Support the Director of Advertising and sales team in the coordination of proposal development.
-Collect and manage print advertising materials ensuring they meet technical guidelines and quality standards.
-Collaborates closely with editorial and design team for pagination and layout of each magazine while making sure all advertising requirements are met.
-Manage advertising accounting which includes generating insertion orders, invoicing, processing payments, sales rep commissions and collection follow-up as
needed.
-Point person for all magazine audit reports which include Rapid Reports, Publisher Statements and annual circulation audit.
-Assist with advertising sales reporting, provide general support and other duties as assigned.
-The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in magazine operations, advertising, marketing or a related field. This position requires the
ability to handle multiple projects, being highly organized and possess a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will have an affinity for Ducks
Unlimited’s mission and programs, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Additional Qualifications Include:  
-Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, integrated marketing communications or related field.
-Familiarity with marketing communications and sales promotion.
-Excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills.
-Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and follow-up, and excellent organizational skills required – including the ability to
prioritize and multi-task several projects simultaneously.
-Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Dynamics 365 and other online search tools.
-Ability to analyze and synthesize data and produce readable, informative reports.
-Ability to handle confidential information with exceptional judgment and discretion.
-Flexible and adaptable to new programs in an emerging and changing environment.
-The Print Advertising Specialist reports to the Director of Advertising and is based at the National Headquarters in Memphis, TN.

Candidates must be willing to work hours that extend outside of the typical workday and workweek throughout the year; occasional overnight travel is required.
