Baptist Memorial Health Care has a wonderful opportunity for a Manager – Talent Acquisition. The ideal individual will direct and manage the day to day operation and activities of the Recruitment Team Services for Baptist Memorial Health Care. Lead and affect change within BMHCC, affecting internal/external applicants and hiring managers, in coordination with Human Resources and Administrative Staff, in a manner consistent with the mission and philosophy of BMHCC.
Formulate goals/objectives, plan and develop programs, evaluate cost, monitor Employment Services performance budget. Collaborates with management to identify issues/potential problems and facilitate development of system policies/procedures for the resolution or prevention of such concerns. Participates in the development, implementation, and management of controls and advanced business practices in order to minimize BMHCC legal and financial exposure to risks from issues related to the practice of Employment Services.
Provides advice and guidance to applicants, employees, management, and administrative staff regarding all areas of recruitment and hiring. Directs recruiting, screening, and interviewing internal/external applicants to provide qualified candidates to hiring managers to fill job vacancies within BMHCC. Participates in the design/administration of Human Resources Programs. Provides policy interpretation and monitors compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for all Employment Services functions twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days/week. Overtime and call back are required. This position is under the general direction of the Director – Talent Acquisition.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required, Master’s preferred.
5 years progressive management and generalist experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, and/or Marketing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
