In Memphis, we’ve got the food, we’ve got the culture, we’ve got the river, and we’ve even got the King—BUT something you may not know is, we’ve also got jobs that will pay you a living wage.

Just because we live in a city that boasts one of the lowest cost of living, doesn’t mean that we skimp folks out of any of the dollars they deserve.

City Leadership: Creative Director

 The Creative Director role should be organized, experienced graphic designers who love Memphis, get excited about serving non-profit partners, and value a collaborative creative approach. This position requires someone comfortable designing ads, merchandise, print collateral, and web graphics while also providing creative vision to the execution of those or anything else that comes up in the creative process. We want big ideas bolstered with discipline to make sure they live up to their promise.

Orpheum Theatre Group: Sr Manager of Development

Since it first opened in 1928, the Orpheum has dazzled patrons with its artisan millwork, gilding, original fixtures, a Mighty Wurlitzer organ, and architectural beauty. Saved by the Memphis Development Foundation (MDF) in 1977, the Orpheum was one of the first buildings in Memphis placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Senior Manager of Development will work to create, build, and sustain relationships with the corporate community in Memphis and beyond with the goal of sustaining the OTG in the present and future. The position is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of OTG, its strategic plan, programming, and operations. The Director will continually look to build new partnerships and deepen existing relationships keeping in mind the need to expand the current funding base by numbers of partners and revenue generated.
