Memphis’ First Dog Park Bar Opening May 1

Dog parks— a magical wonderland where fur babies can frolic and sniff butts while their humans take a step back and let them enjoy their limelight. But who says the pups are the only ones allowed to party? Lucky’s Social Club opens May 1 as the first local dog park bar and it’s pretty much an outdoor pub with pups.

Co-owned by Chelsea Glass, Brian Ellsworth, and Mac Hopper, Lucky’s will be a membership-based dog park bar, located at 730 S. Main, that is a fun and safe environment for your best bud and whoev-fur comes along!

Membership options include:

  • $10 day pass
  • $25 monthly membership
  • $275 annual membership
  • A limited time exclusive lifetime membership opportunity is also available.

*All pups are welcome, but owners will be required to show proof of updated vaccines, proof of being spayed/neutered, and a signed admission of a non-aggression*

The park will include amenities such as tetherball, obstacle courses, water features, and an
outdoor dog wash station, and the bar will be serving up gourmet hot dogs and an assortment of beer.

Public bar hours:

  • Tuesday-Thursday (4PM-10PM)
  • Friday (4PM-12AM)
  • Saturday (Noon-12AM)
  • Sunday (Noon-10PM)

To kick off the opening of the bark… I mean park, a soft opening community event, St. Pawtrick’s Day, will take place on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 in partnership with the Downtown Memphis Commission. The event will serve as a means to unveil future plans, and allow everyone to tour the space and leave feedback for what the community would like to see. It is free and open to the public, and there will be live music, pup friendly vendors, food trucks, beer, and exclusive Lucky’s merchandise.
