Memphis Foodie Spots to be Featured on Food Network’s “Buddy’s Family Vacation”

The Food Network’s Buddy’s Family Vacation recently came to Memphis for a special episode highlighting Memphis eats with an Elvis theme. Update: Air date is TBA.

Host of the show, Buddy Valastro (of Cake Boss fame), will showcase Elvis inspired dishes from the Memphis area during the episode “Pilgrimage to Graceland: Valastro Style!” Valastro is bringing his entire family with him to enjoy the iconic and historic sites and tastes of Memphis.

As Buddy travels to the 901, he will indulge in Elvis-inspired food including peanut butter milkshakes at the Trolley Stop MarketSay Cheese Food Truck’s Elvis Italiano sandwich, and “the king” cupcakes at Muddy’s Bake Shop. He will also enjoy Memphis BBQ with Marlowe’s Ribs and will make a stop by the historic Peabody Hotel.

The show’s host, Buddy Valastro, is the star of Cake Boss and will be doing an entire season of traveling across the country with his wife Lisa and their four kids to taste the southern flavors. Buddy’s Family Vacation premieres May 27 with the “Pilgrimage to Graceland: Valastro Style!” episode airing date TBA.
