MEMPHIS FASHION WEEK IS BACK—celebrating 10 years of craft and creativity within our local fashion scene!
Featuring shopping opportunities, a jewelry making class, and the first MFW fashion show since 2019, Arrow Creative is providing three days worth of showcases from Memphis moguls who are slaying the game.
“Memphis is ripe for a big fashion industry – there’s creativity, there’s need, and there’s consumers for it in this city.” – Abby Phillips, Founder of Memphis Fashion Week and Executive Director of Arrow Creative.
If this is your first time hearing of Arrow, allow us to make an introduction to this local nonprofit that bridges the gap between creative entrepreneurs and consumers. Acting as a hub for artists of all kinds to collaborate, commingle, and find new lanes of creative expression, Arrow Creative makes amenities like studio space, workshops, and year-round programming available for those who interested in cultivating their creative spirit.
Memphis Fashion Week actually acts as a fundraiser for Arrow Creative, raising dollars to help make art even more accessible to Memphians who are making magic.
MFW has had to revamp their usual events to accommodate COVID-related regulations—but don’t worry, they’ve got plenty of fun up their well-crafted sleeves.
Here’s the rundown:
Memphis Fashion Week goes from Wednesday, August 25 through Saturday, August 28.
Most events will take place at Arrow Creative’s new space located at 653 Philadelphia Street. In fact the first festivity is a free gallery tour, so you can see where these talented peeps are putting in work.

Thursday, August 26: Arrow Creative Class – Fashion Week Bling
Mimi Beasley Danosky of Amulet (formerly Brave Designs) knows a thing or two about standing out from the crowd, and you’re invited to create a custom statement piece of jewelry that you can wear to the runway show!
The $150 cost covers all the materials that you’ll need to create your one-of-a-kind piece.

Friday, August 27: Fashion Night Out
Memphians never miss an opportunity to shop local! At Fashion Night Out, not only do you get a chance to grab all kinds of locally-made goodies, but you get to meet the featured designers and be the first to shop the looks you’ll see on the runway.
The $60 ticket cost covers your entry fee + complimentary drinks and appetizers.

Saturday, August 28: Emerging Designer Outdoor Runway Show with Afterparty at Railgarten
The Emerging Memphis Designers, a collective of local industry professionals from the Emerging Memphis Designer Project (EMDP) will celebrate their hard work, showcasing their designs at Arrow Creative from 4PM-7PM—and you’re invited to kick it with the designers and fashionistas of MFW right after at Railgarten, just a few blocks away on Central Ave.
The $60 general admission tickets covers the entry fee + complimentary wine and beer at the show.

**$150 VIP passes are also up for grabs, giving attendees access to a private lounge area with a full bar 1 hour prior to the event start as well as during intermissions. VIPs will also receive coveted Memphis Fashion Week gift bags, priority seating, and an invitation to the Fashion Night Out pop up**
