The Clarence Day Scholars are hosting the third-annual Memphis Day on Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be live musical performances, photographs with Leroy the Lynx, food trucks, activities for children, community organization information tables, and an afternoon football game. All activities are open to the public and free with the exception of the items purchased from two of Memphis’ finest food trucks, Pig-N-Out and Mark’s Grill, and beer provided by a local brewery.
A “Puppy Petting Zoo” will be offered from Sunny Meadows, a performance by Co-motion Studios, live music from local and Rhodes bands, as well as appearances and outreach programs from a variety of community organizations including Ballet Memphis, Memphis Repertory Orchestra, Latino Memphis, The Exceptional Foundation, Tennessee Shakespeare Company, Whole Foods, Opera Memphis, The Urban Child Institute, and more.

All activities will take place on the east side of the football field on the Rhodes campus. Make sure to stop by the Day Scholars info table where everyone will receive a complimentary beverage and the first 500 guests will receive a free Memphis Day T-shirt.
