About the Creators
David Parks is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and accomplished bassist. David started playing bass in Overton High School’s acclaimed program under the direction of the late Jeff Huddleston. The result of his commitment was a scholarship award from University of Memphis where David earned a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance. He found time during college to participate in MTV’s show Making His Band, becoming a fan favorite. Shortly after that stint on the cable network, he secured the role of bassist for platinum recording artist Sean Kingston for several world tours. Justin Beiber grabbed Parks for his touring band immediately after the Kingston tours. From Staples Center to Madison Square Garden, arenas of 20,000 screaming fans began to be the norm. Shortly after the stint with Justin Beiber, Parks was lucky enough to snag his current pop-circuit, prime time gig with multi-platinum superstar, Jason Derulo.
