IT Systems Administrator

We are adding an IT Systems Administrator to our team who will be  is responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems at Youth Villages.

  • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain various member and domain controller servers across multiple locations.
  • Approve and deploy updates for corporate applications and operating systems.
  • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure software and hardware.
  • Maintain Active Directory and group policies.
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed for various systems.
  • Configure and manage wired and wireless networks.
  • Manage technical projects of different lengths and scopes.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Work with a team of technicians to create effective and efficient solutions to problems.
  • Maintain documentation and training materials.
  • Occasional travel is required to set up or move offices.

The successful candidate will possess:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years’ experience in related field (required)
A+, N+ and MCP certifications (plus)
Relevant experience includes:

MS Windows Server versions 2008R2 – 2019
Office 365 configuration and troubleshooting
Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
Network monitoring with software such as PRTG or NPM
DFSR, network printing, file shares, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTFS file permissions
MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Wireless and wired networks or other similar cloud-managed systems (Meraki or similar)
Virtualization with MS Hyper-V or VMWare
Backup and restore procedures with Veeam or similar solution
Video conferencing setup and troubleshooting
