Preschool/Childcare Teachers

Here at Vollintine Evergreen Neighborhood School (VENS), we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. We believe in fostering a love of learning through play-based activities and individualized attention.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The teacher will be responsible for implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of young children aged 2 – 4 years of age. The ideal candidate will be creative, patient, and have a genuine love for working with preschoolers. This role requires excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

* The applicant will have experience working within an early childhood classroom setting.

* Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices.

* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

* Must computer literate
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

* The applicant must have patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.

* The applicant must have reliable transportation
* Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

* Must have a Medical Report on file
* Must pass a background check and fingerprint
