🌞 Join the Fun at Lamplighter Montessori School’s Summer Camp! 🌞

Are you ready for a summer full of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning? Lamplighter Montessori School seeks energetic, enthusiastic, and creative individuals to join our 8-week Summer Camp Program! From June 2 to July 25, we’re seeking dynamic team members excited to inspire and engage children ages 18 months to 12 years old in a fun, educational, and inclusive environment. Summer camp teachers will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except June 19th and July 3rd-4th in observance of the Juneteenth and Independence Day holidays. 

What We Offer:

• Full-time hours: Monday through Friday, one half-Saturday training and two classroom observation sessions.
• Engaging Weekly Themes: Each week, our programming will spark natural curiosity in subjects like: 🌱 Ecology 🌻 Garden Science 🎨 Art 🚀 Space

🐾 Animals 💦 Water Games 🏆 Team Building

Who We’re Looking For:

• Individuals ages 21 and older who are passionate about working with children and creating an inspiring, fun, and safe environment.
• Prior childcare or teaching experience is preferred, but not required!
• CPR certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Montessori is a plus, but not required – we’ll teach you the ropes!

Special Incentive for Current Montessori Teachers:

Candidates who are currently AMS, AMI, or MACTE-certified Montessori teachers will receive $30 per hour as part of their compensation. We highly value your expertise and experience in Montessori education and are excited to offer this incentive to recognize your qualifications!
