Venue Assistant

The Part-Time Venue Assistant supports rental operations by assisting with event sales, client communication, and hands-on event setup. This role helps generate revenue through rentals while ensuring museum event spaces are prepared, safe, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle both administrative and physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service to potential rental clients via email, phone, and in-person
• Assist with responding to inquiries, answering questions about rental options, and scheduling tours
• Conduct venue tours for potential clients and support the sales process
• Prepare rental quotes and assist with booking documentation and scheduling
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, AV equipment, and event materials according to event layouts
• Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and prepared before client arrival
• Support staff and vendors during events as needed
• Maintain inventory of event supplies
• Represent the museum professionally and help uphold museum policies and safety guidelines
