POSITION:
Sales Managers are responsible for meeting studio revenue goals and new membership sales target by pre-planning with strategic community outreach, in-club lead generation, and securing member referrals.
Under the management of a Franchise Owner and with the support of a Rumble GM, Sales Managers must exemplify leadership qualities in all areas of the business. Sales Managers must have the ability to build lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order build a strong ambassadorship and retain members. The Sales Manager is rooted in hospitality and upholds our mission of fueling energetic communal experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years of fitness membership sales or retail/service sales experience
Ability and confidence to manage sales team and consistently drive 4 separate revenue streams: memberships, package sales, retail, and fees
Ability to maintain the proper proportion of the revenue streams to achieve goals
Aggressively sell BOGO’s when offered and promote referral program
Ability/willingness to follow our proven sales process consistently and effectively
Fluent in English, excellent communication skills; strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via text and email
Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
Ability to identify improvements needed and make changes with GM’s approval
Possess an affinity and passion for fitness
Possess excellent writing and grammar skills
Proficiency in organization, data management, prioritization, meeting deadlines
Professional, punctual, and reliable
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the public
Proficiency with computers and multiple studio software programs
DUTIES:
Learn and adhere to Rumble’s proven sales model/process to work and convert existing and new leads; Achieve/maintain target conversion rate of 10-12% or higher during presales and a slightly lower rate post-opening
Adhere to a process for calling all new leads immediately when they come in, or as close to that time as possible given the time of day it is received
Implement a proven process to schedule prospects or groups of prospects into trial classes prior to opening; aggressively seek conversions and referrals
Sell memberships during presale and after opening; meet or exceed the sales targets established and communicated by the company, owner and GM
Participate in periodic trainings and weekly calls with Rumble management
Generate leads through multiple channels, i.e., grassroots and networking
Manage sales staff and schedules; hold frequent feedback sessions; conduct performance reviews and recommend staff promotions to GM
Remain in compliance with the Employee Handbook at all times and ensure that sales staff fully understands and complies with terms as well
Directly coordinate with vendors as needed when requested by owner or GM
Open and close the studio when requested by owner or GM
Hire, manage, and train team members under the supervision of the GM
Display proficiency in ClubReady/Aurora systems including managing memberships/leads and setting up/running/analyzing/sharing recurring reports
Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times
Collect outstanding membership dues and fees
Manage membership cancellations/ freezes; transfer collections to vendor
Assist GM in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the studio
Enforce Rumble’s policies, procedures, and brand standards
Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio supplies are fully stocked
Manage member milestone program/birthdays, and recognize/celebrate members for first class, milestones, special days with locker greetings, plaques and social postings
Assist GM in planning, scheduling and organizing member appreciation events, special workshops and 1:1 trainings
Assist GM in scheduling/ participating in lead generation events as needed
Assist GM in strategically planning and implementing marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio and to retain existing members
Manage member retention and ensure that we meet or exceed the goal established by the company at various stages of operations
Manage sales and promotion of additional studio offerings such as retail, Territory Food Services, C4 Sales, and any others that may be implemented
Assist GM in managing and expanding our Rumble Rewards Program
Perform other duties as assigned
