Non-Profit Event Internship Opportunity

Position: Event Management Intern (2 positions available)

Duration

·  Start: January/February 2025

·  End: May/June 2025

·  Compensation: $13.00 per hour

 

Primary Responsibilities

The intern will support event operations through:

 

Event Setup and Management

·  Coordinate with vendors and caterers on daily logistics and setup

·  Manage signage placement and collection

·  Oversee exhibitor materials and promotional items

·  Organize and distribute vendor/exhibitor welcome packets

·  Conduct regular exhibitor check-ins to ensure positive experience

 

Documentation and Administration

·  Maintain detailed master lists of guests, volunteers, exhibitors, and contacts

·  Schedule and coordinate vendor/exhibitor load-in times

·  Track daily student attendance, arrivals, and departures

·  Manage volunteer and exhibitor sign-in stations

·  Support curriculum progress monitoring

·  Assist with virtual event platform (vFairs) maintenance

 

Post-Event Responsibilities

·  Coordinate event breakdown procedures

·  Manage organization and vendor material collection
