Manage projects to insure they are completed according to engineering and production schedules and act as the liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing Control and all internal and external customers.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Take over Project once it is transferred from Pittsburgh.
Once new project is received schedule KICK-OFF meeting. Invite Engineering Manager, PE, SCM Manager, Quality Manager Manufacturing Control Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager & General Manager to review specs and special requirements.
Monitor, and communicate engineering & manufacturing schedules required to meet deliverables based on the current production schedule to Pittsburgh.
Remain up to date with inter-departmental deliverables within each design section of the engineering department participate in customer and internal design review meetings while tracking action items throughout the entire design process.
Serve as primary contact to HICO Pittsburgh on projects to communicate schedule, required project tasks, project schedules, production status and delays, ITP, engineering and test reports, factory issues and problems, supply chain challenges, project deliverables and milestones
Serve as the main contact and host for customer audits, presentations, customer design reviews, and customer witness events & all customer visits.
Work with experienced design and manufacturing engineers to learn and understand the transformer manufacturing process.
Ensure all internal designs reviews within each design section of the engineering department are completed per schedule and attend them as well.
Participate in cost analysis of each project assigned.
Create cost-reduction ideas and track the execution of ideas for each project.
Travel to customer project sites and vendor sites as required.
Manage multiple projects at one time
Further the goals and positive, professional image of Hyosung HICO through interaction with other HICO divisions and vendors.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline and 4 or more years of experience in project management, or equivalent education and experience.
Developed analytical skills.
Strong computer skills, emphasizing knowledge of MS Office products.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS OF THE WORKPLACE:
Ability to travel domestic and international up to 20% of the time.
Ability to read, understand technical drawings and material.
