Job Summary:
Home Surety Title is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Pre-Closing Administrative Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll assist the Pre-Closing team by communicating with agents, ordering essential file information, and completing preliminary file work. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth transactions by handling daily tasks, managing phone calls, and supporting our Pre-Closer team with their ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
● Communicate effectively with real estate agents and clients.
● Order necessary file information and complete preliminary file work.
● Handle daily administrative tasks assigned by Pre-Closers or team members.
● Manage phone calls and email correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
● Assist Pre-Closers with requesting and collecting any outstanding information from clients.
● Help clear title defects by gathering documents and working with all parties involved.
● Turn files over to the Closing Department once all title defects have been cured, and all supporting documents, loan packages, and invoices have been gathered.
Qualifications:
● Prior office experience preferred.
● Excellent phone communication skills; personable and professional demeanor.
● Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
● Experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word.
● Spanish-speaking is a plus for broader client communication.
Working Hours:
● Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
