Job Type: Full-Time (8:00 am – 3:30 pm)
Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hr / 35 hours per week

Overview:

The Christopher A. Pugh II Center, based in Memphis, TN, is seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to join our team as a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Instructor. This role will involve traveling to a Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) facility in Only, TN to provide classroom instruction to inmates, helping them develop skills for a successful transition post-release. While the primary worksite is outside of Memphis, this position is a great opportunity for candidates in the Memphis Metro area who are open to travel.

Job Summary:

• Serve as a training instructor in the Cognitive Behavior Intervention Program (CBIP) at a TDOC facility, delivering CBIP curriculum provided by the Christopher A. Pugh II Center (CPC).
• Ensure the program is implemented and delivered in compliance with CPC and TDOC policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience in supervising or administering a training program.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions that align with organizational goals.

Education Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree is preferred in social work, psychology, or criminal justice from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader based in the Memphis area who is willing to travel to serve individuals in correctional education.
