We are looking for a Cashier who serves as the vital link between our guests and our legendary BBQ. You
are the first and last face our customers see, responsible for accurate transactions, expert hospitality,
and ensuring seamless service from entry to exit. This is a fast-paced role that requires meticulous
attention to detail and unwavering service standards.

The Role: Accuracy, Hospitality, and Sweet Execution
The Cashier is responsible for expertly managing all monetary transactions, providing seamless guest
service, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the front counter area.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do):

• Accurate Financial Management: Expertly prepare bills for food and accept payment or make
  change using the Point of Sale (POS) system. At the end of the shift, accurately balance receipts
  and payments in cash registers.
• Exceptional Guest Service: Provide a welcoming, helpful, and efficient experience for every
  guest. This includes serving food, beverages, or desserts to customers.
• Dessert Specialist: Own the dessert station! This involves dessert preparation such as warming
  up items and scooping ice cream, and wrapping desserts efficiently for serving or for takeout.
• Front-of-House Sanitation: Maintain a sparkling service area. Perform essential cleaning duties
  such as sweeping and mopping to keep the front counter and lobby sanitary.
• Beverage & Condiment Prep: Ensure the serving station is fully stocked and ready for service.
  Brew tea, fill containers with requested beverages, and replenish lemons at the serving station.
• Teamwork & Flexibility: Attend all scheduled employee meetings and coordinate with/assist
  fellow employees to meet guests’ needs. Be ready to fill-in for fellow employees where needed
  to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

communication skills.

Required:

• Cash Handling/POS Experience: Proven experience accurately handling cash and credit card
  transactions, preferably in a fast-casual or retail environment.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in balancing money and preparing desserts according
  to standard.
• Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding customer service ability and a naturally friendly, helpful
  demeanor.
• Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to be highly self-motivated and maintain cleanliness standards
  under pressure.
