Sales Associate

**Job Summary**:

The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for all customers. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with product inquiries, managing inventory, handling transactions, and maintaining the visual standards of the store.

 

**Key Responsibilities**:

– Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.

– Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs.

– Assist customers with locating items, explaining features, and answering questions.

– Process transactions accurately, including cash and credit.

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stock areas.

– Stock and replenish inventory as needed, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.

– Meet or exceed sales goals through upselling and cross-selling techniques.

– Handle customer concerns or complaints, escalating to management when necessary.

– Stay informed about store promotions, sales events, and product launches.

– Assist in visual merchandising, ensuring displays are up to company standards.

– Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store success.

 

**Qualifications**:

– Previous experience in retail or customer service is required.

-Knowledge of social media trends and marketing is a plus.

-Knowledge of designer labels and brands.

-Knowledge of current fashion trends.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work the store hours Tuesday-Saturday 11am-5pm. Will receive one Saturday off a month.

– Basic math skills for handling cash and sales transactions.

– Positive attitude and a strong desire to help customers.

– Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or stocking.

 

**Working Conditions**:

– 30 hours a week with paid 30 min lunch break.

-Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
