Lead Sales & Events Associate

Cane & Herb is looking for a Lead Sales & Event Associate to join our dynamic team! You will be the face of C&H at local events and Farmers Markets. You’ll be responsible for event sales and the execution of sharing high-quality product knowledge to each customer. You will also help with building out and leading a team of other staff members to lead markets/events throughout the week.

At Cane & Herb, we pride ourselves on using the finest organic, and all-natural ingredients to create our syrups. Our flavors and quality are unmatched in the marketplace! We take our time with every batch to get the perfect taste, with rich notes of the herb flavor in every sweet sip.

Duties

• Setup and breakdown at events
• Providing samples of syrups to customers and sharing product knowledge
• Drives sales through engagement of customers and sharing uses for the products
• Responds to customers’ questions.
• Manages cash, card, and virtual financial transactions via POS devices.

Skills & Knowledge

• Some sales and communication skills
• Working knowledge of POS payment systems
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Must be able to regularly and safely lift objects up to 20 lbs unassisted.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Some retail, customer service experience desired; but not mandatory

Important Highlights about the Position

• This is a part-time position with mostly weekend hours (Saturdays, Sundays, Occasional Fridays)
• There are opportunities for increased hours and opportunity depending on availability and your comfortability/proficiency with sales and customer service.
