Lead Sales & Event Associate

Cane & Herb is looking for a Lead Sales & Event Associate to join our dynamic team! You will be the face of C&H at local events and Farmers Markets. You’ll be responsible for event sales and the execution of sharing high-quality product knowledge to each customer. You will also help with building out and leading a team of other staff members to lead markets/events throughout the week.

At Cane & Herb, we pride ourselves on using the finest ingredients to create our syrups. We take our time with every batch to get the perfect taste, with rich notes of the herb flavor in every sweet sip.

Duties

• Setup and breakdown at events
• Creating a fun and engaging customer experience
• Providing samples of syrups to customers and sharing product knowledge
• Drives sales through engagement of customers and sharing uses for the products
• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Responds to customers’ questions.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Manages cash, card, and virtual financial transactions via POS devices.

Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent sales and communication skills
• Working knowledge of POS payment systems
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Must be able to regularly and safely lift objects up to 20lbs unassisted.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Some retail, customer service experience desired; but not mandatory
