Site Supervisor, Repairs

The Site Supervisor of Repairs is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of home assessments and inspections and confirming that subcontractor work is completed, inspected, and approved. The Repairs Project Manager will also perform property site inspections, initiate and manage subcontractor work, and conduct final inspections for various repair programs such as Aging in Place and Neighborhood Revitalization.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure that both home assessments and inspections within a project proceed as planned and are conducted according to requirements, standards, and regulations.
Identify and document structural deficiencies/findings during assessment, mid-project, and inspection.
Create work orders and tool kits based on inspections.
Accurate and timely documentation and email responses.
Confirm that sub-contractor work is completed, inspected, and approved.
Discuss deficiencies with subcontractors and work to ensure needed corrections are made.
Verify that the work performed will be approved by the local authority’s building control department or an approved inspector.
Communicate effectively and create an environment for a successful experience with homeowners, donors, and subcontractors.
Manage projects, staff, and time to ensure funding deadlines.
Ability to multitask and successfully meet rolling deadlines.
Evaluate and implement good safety practices and consistently stress the same with contractors and other staff.

Required Education & Work Experience

5 years’ experience in construction/contracting or other related experiences
A plus is that the candidate has experience as a home inspector.
High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
Preferred Experience:
Nonprofit and/or Habitat for Humanity
Construction Management experience
Knowledge of Database entry (i.e., SalesForce)
