Educational Technologist

Summary:

Responsible for facilitating the integration of various technologies into the instructional programs at the College, through the recommendation, selection, design, production and implementation of technology based solutions in various academic learning environments. Supporting faculty and student use of learning technologies through training and tutorials, troubleshooting, and providing other support services as needed. Creates technical documentation and assists with some user training. Incumbent works under the general direction of a Site Director of Information Technology.

Pathology Professor – College of Osteopathic Medicine

Summary:

This is a faculty ranked position. The faculty member will be assigned duties as required in the domains of teaching, research & scholarly activity, service, administration, and clinical practice (if applicable). Candidates for the level of full professor will need a demonstrated record of both time and excellence in both academic and clinical domains.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in teaching, scholarly activities, and service in the Osteopathic School of Medicine with a goal of producing competent and holistic physicians
• Participate in and/or direct multidisciplinary curricular courses and formative and summative assessment of learners
• Mentor junior faculty in developing instructional experiences that support the mission and goals of the College and University
• Partner with College leadership to assess educational outcomes and use data to perform quality improvement of instructional methodology and curriculum
• Full-time, non-tenure track, exempt position under the administrative direction of the Department Chair and Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs
• May occasionally require hours beyond an 8-hour workday
• Distribution of time to be spent in Teaching, Research & Scholarly Activity, Service, Administration, and Clinical Practice negotiated annually based on faculty career goals, college and administrative needs, and meeting accreditation standards.

Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development, Adult Education, Human Resources Management, or a relevant field of study and a minimum of 3 years of professional related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Summary: Assists in conducting continuous learning and development needs assessments to drive training initiatives. Researches and identifies suitable learning solutions and prepares learning and development programs, objectives and materials utilizing a variety of media. Develops and designs specific learning programs that focus on competencies, operating processes, procedures, policies and systems (e.g. supervisory skills, conflict resolution, process improvement). Develops and delivers learning programs for varying levels of individuals within the University and travels to other University campuses to provide learning or participate in employee events, as needed. Monitors the effectiveness of training programs while developing a culture of recognition, service excellence and employee learning. Drives change initiatives and promotes the mission, vision and desired culture of the university.

Coordinator, Fraternity & Sorority Life

The University of Memphis Office of Student Leadership and Involvement is currently recruiting for its next Coordinator, Fraternity and Sorority Life. This role oversees a vibrant council of 25 organizations across 3 councils (Panhellenic, NPHC, IFC) including providing support to the executive council, chapter officers, advisors, assessment, evaluation, marketing and training.  The ideal candidate has familiarity with Fraternity and Sorority Life policies and procedures, Panhellenic Recruitment Process, NPHC Intake and IFC semi-formal recruitment. This position supervises as Graduate Assistant.
