Inaugural Memphis International Rockabilly Festival Announced

Today Universal Fairs and In The Wings Productions announced the birth of the inaugural Memphis International Rockabilly Festival! This festival takes place in the historic Edge District. There will be two stages of live music within two blocks of Sun Studio to Sam Phillips Recording Service lasting two days from noon to midnight. Hightlights include tattoos, photos, BBQ, Sock Hops, record swaps, meet & greets, Hot Rod Rows, Drive-In pictures shows, and more.

  • When: Saturday – Sunday, August 15-16th

  • Cost: $15/1 Day Pass, $25/2 Day Pass, several VIP options

Alley Stage:

  • Local Yokels – showcasing the very best Bands and Artists Memphis has to offer -1pm – 6:30pm
  • Tom Mathis and Band – 7pm
  • Deering & Down – 9pm

Main Stage:

  • WS Holland and band (Johnny Cash’s Drummer) – 4:00pm
  • Stan Perkins – (Carl Perkin’s Son) 5:30pm
  • Jerry Lee “Smoochy” Smith – Locked – 6:10
