Memphis International Airport is become a favorite site for expansion, as Frontier airlines announced a new direct flight connecting Memphis and Ft. Worth, Texas. It will run six days a week. To kick off the new route, fares are as low as $39 for flights through March 1, 2015. You only have until August 30, 2014 to book, though. So hurry up and grab your seat!
Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, said in a press release, “These introductory fares attest to our commitment to make air travel more affordable and accessible. We are confident customers will love our amazing low fares and the ability to optimize their travel experience for the comfort and value they seek.”
Frontier made a big impression in the Memphis market with a similar promotion going to Denver. They are also one of several new airlines working hard to offer affordable fares at Memphis International. Southwest Airlines also unveiled new seasonal flights as reported by the Memphis Business Journal. The airport is also in the midst of a renovation deemed “smart sizing” by leaders.
