On December 5th Visible Music College will rock the Cannon Center! Last year the Visible Music College performed the Rock’n’Roll Chirstmas Show at the Cannon Center for the first time with Sarah Simmons, Visible alumn and finalist for The Voice on NBC. This year they return for a spectacular night that will rock your stockings off.
As if the show wouldn’t be good enough, Madison Line Records (nonprofit label of Visible Music College) will release a new EP, A Visible Christmas Vol. 3, on November 25th in conjunction with the Christmas show. The EP will feature Visible Music artists like Andrew Smith and Jordan Hays, Banyan Days, Eleutheria, Holly Hartman, and The Jason Lee McKinney Band. With hits like “Go Tell It On The Mountain” and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” this EP will be a perfect Christmastime tune.
Holly Hartman, a senior vocal performance and music business major at Visible Music College, will be coordinating the show. She had this to say:
“Not only will this year’s show be accompanied by an EP featuring songs and artists from the show, but we will also produce the show at our Chicagoland sister campus for the first time.” “Personally exciting for me is the development of this show, as well as having an original song featured on the EP. The teamwork it takes to produce a show like this is incredible, and I hope that our message is clear in both Memphis and Chicago: we love being a part of these communities, and this is our way of saying thanks.”
Ken Steorts, the founder and president of Visible Music College, said:
“Visible Music College is very excited to bring the Rock and Roll Christmas Show back to the Cannon Center for the city of Memphis.” “We thoroughly enjoy exploring the Christmas classics and the intimacy of the season with the public and showcasing our students and friends of the college.”
Donations to the college will be accepted, but the concert is FREE! Check out the event page for updates.
