A Neighbor-to-Neighbor Community Fair to strengthen and encourage development will take place from 11 am to 3 pm on June 13 at New Hope Christian Academy on 3000 University Street.
At the free fair, you can attend financial education workshops, sign up for credit counseling, and home buying seminars. You will also have access to resources from health, housing, education, and everything in between.
Livable Memphis, a program of the Community Development Council of Greater Memphis, will have its Mobile Porch at the event to motivate Memphians to participate in city development. The host of the fair, United Housing, will display new mortgage products and hold home-buyer education classes. Also, the Shelby County Trustee office will host its Project H.O.M.E workshop and the EMPOWER ME Community Resource Fair from noon till 2 pm. And the Frayser CDC will showcase its home-buyer education program and present housing stock for sale.
