Open Arms Care’s fourth annual Jazz & Wine Event will feature musical performances by saxophonist Mark Baker, with the Queen of Beale Street, Ruby Wilson, Artistik Approach, alongside other artists at Christian Brothers University in De La Salle Hall Theater on August 7.
Mark Baker has been playing the sax for over two decades, and showing the world what Memphis jazz is about. Ruby Wilson has displayed her soulful vocals across the globe and collaborated with artists such as BB King, Ray Charles, and Isaac Hayes. Artistic Approach combines elements of singing, beatboxing, and rapping to create unique a cappella sounds.
The event starts with a wine reception at 6 pm, with music, appetizers, and a silent auction. The performances will begin at 7 pm.
