City Tasting Tours will be hosting several events this month:
- A Tour of Tastabilities | Black History + Food Tasting Tour: From December 3rd through December 17th you can go on a food experience tour with a focus on learning about historic sites like Slave Haven, the Masonic Temple, the National Civil Rights Museum, and the Stax Museum. Tickets are now on sale.
- CONCOCTIONS on December 17 at 4:30 at the Belle Tavern is an event for whiskey and food lovers alike. Tickets are now on sale.
Doc’s Wine, Spirits & More will host the Erling Jensen Vertical Wine Experience on December 7, 2016 from 6:30 until 8:30 with chef Erling Jensen.
Chef Jensen will be creating a five course dining experience to pair around the last four vintages of the highly acclaimed Trez Malbec. Tickets can be bought at Doc’s Wine, Spirits & More, or by calling (901) 249-7928. Make your reservations today! Seating is limited.
The second annual Memphis Grilled Cheese Festival will take place on December 11, 2016 from 12pm-6pm at the HiTone.
Admission is $5 with donations being collected to benefit ALIVE Memphis Rescue. This event will happen rain or shine, and samples will be available for donations as well as concessions for sale. Be prepared to stand in line, and try carpooling, biking, grab an Uber, or have a friend drop you off to avoid parking problems.
Bacon lovers rejoice! Bacon and Bourbon, hosted by Doc’s Wine, Spirits & More along with Porcellino’s will take place December 19, 2016 from 6:30pm-9pm.
The best butchers will be pairing six different types of bacon with six types of bourbon. Tickets are $100 per person and go on sale at Doc’s on December 10th at 9am as part of their Rare Whiskey Super Saturday Sale. Only 25 spots are available and will go fast.
