Clayborn Temple is a cultural treasure and a living monument to Memphis’ resilience, creativity, and spirit. After the devastating 2025 arson, our community chose not to let her story end in ashes. Voices of Clayborn is part of The Big We Activation Series, created to gather community, share stories, and keep her legacy alive while building her future.

• A focus on place-based history, with this gathering held at The Four Way, a legendary South Memphis landmark tied to civil rights history
