This workshop session will cover the foundational knowledge of public art. Topics will include defining public art- what it looks like and how it functions both here in Memphis and nationally, identifying opportunities, understanding the call to artists, and researching when applying for a call. We will also hear from Forecast Public Art’s Yarlyn Rosario with a presentation on Public Art 101.
