Tom Lee’s Gumption Revival Lantern Workshop (Adults-Only)

Get ready to light up the Tom Lee Mississippi River Gumption Revival Lantern Parade this 901 Day with a lantern you create yourself! Join one of the adults-only workshops at Beale Street Landing (251 Riverside Dr.) to craft your own Tom Lee kerosene lantern, catfish lantern or illuminated parasol for just $12.

Saturday, 8/2 | 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Tom Lee lanterns

Saturday, 8/23 | 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Catfish lanterns

Saturday, 8/30 | 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Illuminated parasols

All materials are provided. Feel free to bring your own adult beverages and snacks!

Tickets are per lantern—two people may collaborate on one, but no more than two participants per lantern, please. Arrive on time to ensure you receive full instructions. Each workshop is limited to 20 participants.
