The Black Business Month Summit
River City Capital along with esteemed partners at Truist, are organizing an empowering event at Lemoyne Owen College to commemorate National Black Business Month, which falls in August annually. This event aims to support and uplift underserved small business owners within our community highlighting their stories of resilience and success.
The event will feature two insightful panels, each designed to provide valuable knowledge and inspiration to the audience. The first panel will comprise two distinguished small business owners who have successfully navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship. They will share their personal journey stories, detailing the obstacles they encountered, the strategies they employed, and the triumphs they achieved. We believe that these authentic narratives will inspire aspiring entrepreneurs and foster a sense of unity and empowerment within our community.
The second panel will consist of representatives from Truist and River City Capital, who will discuss the topic of readiness and access to capital. The panelists will offer valuable insights and guidance on how to effectively prepare for financial opportunities and how Truist and River City Capital can support the growth and development of small businesses through accessible funding solutions.
