T. O. Fuller Weed Wrangle 2025
Help rescue our park from non-native species by cutting down invasive species and making a hiking stick out of them!
The Weed Wrangle is part of a national effort to remove invasive plants from public spaces. Join us at T.O. Fuller State Park to help restore the area to its native natural beauty. This year, we will again focus on Chinese Privet. Not only will you have an opportunity to get outdoors and help your community–this volunteer opportunity provides the knowledge and skill to combat these non-native invaders at your own home.
As a Thank You to our dedicated volunteers, Ranger Daulton will conduct a FREE “Make Your Own Walking Stick” class during the last hour of the event using the privet branch of your choice from the removed invasive plants. All tools will be provided. This program is not recommended for children under the age of 10 years old.
