Super Saturday – Wire Sculptures

Sculpt like a pro with nothing but a simple wire! Inspired by Lonnie Holley’s Spirit Head on a Rod, this Super Saturday lets you experiment with line and form by creating wire sculptures of faces, animals, or anything your imagination dreams up. All materials provided — just bring your creativity! As always, Super Saturday is free and open from 10 AM to 12 PM — come get wired with us.

Super Saturday takes place every week during the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art free hours from 10a-12p. Guests can enjoy drop in art making and curated gallery guides to give them a closer look at the art on view. All ages are welcome! Please register in advance.

The museum and all its programs are made possible by the generous support of museum members. Members enjoy free daily admission to Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and receive discounts of up to 50% on ticketed events. Join today at thebrooks.org/join
