Children sit at a table covered with craft supplies and colored paper, making paper crafts during Super Saturday. Scissors, staplers, and finished projects are scattered like colorful quilts across the red tablecloth.

Super Saturday – Quilts

Learn about the geometry of quilt patterns by making your own paper quilt squares! Inspired by the newest exhibition at your art museum, ‘Of Salt and Spirit’, this activity is all about the art of quilt making. Bring the whole family to collaborate on your own mini paper family quilt.

Super Saturday takes place every week during the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art free hours from 10a-12p. Guests can enjoy drop in art making and curated gallery guides to give them a closer look at the art on view. All ages are welcome! Please register in advance.

Major annual support for Museum Education is provided by the Windgate Foundation, City of Memphis, First Horizon Foundation, Tennessee Arts Commission, National Endowment for the Arts, ARTSmemphis, and the Urban Child Institute.

The museum and all its programs are made possible by the generous support of museum members. Members enjoy free daily admission to Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and receive discounts of up to 50% on ticketed events. Join today at thebrooks.org/join
