Stars, Stripes, & Stories: A Patriotic Tour of Elmwood Cemetery

Celebrate the 250th!

It’s America’s 250th anniversary! Join us for a guided cemetery walking tour exploring early American and Memphis history. Highlights include a Revolutionary War veteran, Elmwood’s Avenue of Flags, veterans of major U.S. wars, high-ranking politicians who shaped the course of Memphis history, suffragists, and Civil Rights leaders. This walking tour will last 75 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes and join us for a brand-new tour at Elmwood Cemetery.

We’re offering this tour twice: once on Wednesday, November 11th for Veterans Day, and again on Saturday, November 14th, for anyone who can’t make it during the week.

Admission is $10; veterans are free.
