Join us for a captivating stargazing event, complete with beautiful star illustrations and a telescope icon. Hosted by the Memphis Astronomical Society at Beale Street Landing Roof, overlooking Tom Lee Park. Event dates run from September 2024 to January 2025.

Stargazing at Tom Lee Park

Enjoy magnificent rooftop views and explore celestial wonders with Memphis Astronomical Society. Events occur once a month, September 2024 – January 2025, on the top of Beale Street Landing (251 Riverside Drive).

Telescopic views begin with the setting Sun, followed by Venus, the rising Moon and Saturn, as well as some of the brighter deep sky objects such as star clusters.

Stargazing Event Schedule (Weather Permitting):

  • Saturday, 12/7 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, 1/11 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

This event is free and open to all ages. Guests can access the stargazing area by walking up the grassy roof of Beale Street Landing. Seating is limited, unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
