Spanish Cultural Series: Pedro Luis Ferrer (Cuba)

A legendary Cuban musician, Pedro Luis Ferrer’s work spans the classical as well as popular genres of Cuban music with fully charged lyrics reflecting the daily trials of everyday life with brilliant and poetic lyrics.

During his long career, dating back from the early 70’s, his songs have been recorded by such artists as Celia Cruz, Omara Portuondo (Buena Vista Social Club) or Gilberto Santa Rosa.

In this special and intimate concert he will play classics from his repertoire accompanied by his talented daughter, Lena Ferrer.
