Sons of Mystro

The Sons of Mystro are made up of brothers, Malcolm and Umoja, who were born in South Florida to a Jamaican father and a Barbadian mother. They honed their skills in the Broward County public school system and have performed with The Fray, Najee, Fantasia, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Earth Wind and Fire, to name a few. Mentored by the famed Black Violin, the Emerging Artist Under 21 award-winners practiced and formed the duo using their instruments to interpret reggae classics, American pop songs, and their own creations accompanied by a DJ and a drummer.
