Solar Eclipse Science & Safety

Did you know there will be a solar eclipse this year? Learn about the science of solar eclipses and how to view them safely! Planetarium staff from the Memphis Museum of Science and History will give a presentation followed by Questions and Answers. Educational activities for children will be provided, and light refreshments will be available.

Attendees will receive free solar eclipse viewing glasses to watch the upcoming eclipse on October 14, 2023.
