Shoot & Splice: Craig Brewer on Directing

Indie Memphis and Crosstown Arts are excited to welcome Memphis’ own Craig Brewer for his first ever in-person Shoot & Splice event! Craig will discuss his experiences and share insights from his many years as a feature film director. From his early years making indies like THE POOR & HUNGRY and HUSTLE & FLOW, through his big Hollywood adventures like COMING 2 AMERICA, Craig has much to share about the evolution of the director role and how exploring themes and ideas that resonate with oneself is paramount to a successful filmmaking career.
