Shoot & Splice: Camera Department Essentials

Indie Memphis & Crosstown Arts are excited to host camera operator & DIT Josh Beckemeyer for a hands-on workshop and demonstration of a professional film camera department. Josh and crew will detail the essentials necessary for preparing filmmakers, producers, & crew members to have the right equipment and the right crew for the right job.

From big budget commercials to micro-budget short films, Josh will help explain what you need and why. Whether you’re new to filmmaking or an experienced crew member, director, or producer, this Shoot & Splice will aim to provide insights and knowledge to make your next shoot a fun, safe, and achievable experience for all.
