Race for Recovery 5K Color Run
We are pleased to announce that the Shelby County Drug Court Foundation is hosting the Race for Recovery 5K race on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, held entirely in the historic Overton Park. This will be our seventh annual Race for Recovery. Following the race, we will have medals and awards ceremony.
We invite you to run with us. For over twenty years, Drug Court has been intervening in the lives and families of those arrested for alcohol and drug problems by reducing drug use, reducing crime, saving money, restoring lives, saving children, and reuniting families.
All proceeds from the 5K will go directly to offering services to participants in the Drug Court program. Services that help our participants become productive, tax-paying members of Shelby County. These participants, in turn, will strengthen our community.
Packet pick-up will be held on October 21 at 300 North Bellevue from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
