Prime Practice: Printmaking with Vince Long

Your creative prime can begin at any age. You’re invited to get immersed into the artist process and build new skills through eight weeks of hands-on making.

Prime Practice is an eight-week studio course for adults 55 and older who are ready to try something new, strengthen their skills and connect with others. No previous art experience is required. Materials are included, and each two-hour session is designed to make participation comfortable and approachable.

Printmaking with Vince Long
Explore four different approaches to printmaking while creating stationery you can use, keep or give as a holiday gift. Over eight weeks, artist and designer Vince Long will introduce screen printing, block printing, gel plate printing and experimental printing with found objects. Participants will create a stationery set using each technique and leave with four finished collections.

Course dates: August 21–October 9 (eight weekly two-hour sessions).

Pricing: $250 for members | $375 for non-members. All materials included.
