Preservation Posse Tour: Explore the Masonic Temple with Memphis Heritage!

Join Memphis Heritage’s Preservation Posse for an exclusive tour of the Memphis Masonic Temple at 272 Court Avenue. Built in 1914, the Neo-Classical style Masonic Temple was designed by architects Walk C. Jones and Max Furbringer and reflected a period when the Masonic Fraternity was growing significantly in popularity. Rich in architectural detail, Masonic symbols appear throughout the ornate building – from stained-glass windows and doorknobs to floors and other decorative elements.
