Polaroid Transfer Workshop

In this Polaroid Transfer workshop, students will learn how to operate the camera to its fullest potential and be creative by taking portraits and/or still life. After a demo, participants will experiment with an emulsion lift, a photo manipulation technique. An emulsion lift involves removing the top layer (the image) from the Polaroid and placing it onto another surface such as paper or fabric. Participants will take home their photo creations on watercolor paper to enjoy within their home or gift to loved ones.

Participants are welcome to bring their own Polaroid 600 camera.All materials are included (Polaroid 600 camera not required).

Valley in Film was founded by portrait photographer Amber Evangelista. The company’s mission is to make film photography more accessible by sharing fun techniques, tips, and equipment to help resuscitate a dying artform.

There are two options for this event, one for teens and one for adults! Mimosas offered at the 21+ event.
